We want to reduce our impact on the environment to a minimum by chosing carefully what we sell and creating awareness among our guests on the beach. Important criteria in the composition of our menu and the choice of products are: healthy, sustainable, and in support of local entrepreneurs. This results in a focus on:
We try to create an atmosphere at our surf club which makes everyone immediately feel welcome and at home. It starts with our enthusiastic crew who will receive and serve you with a smile, over the interior design to the music in the background. We select beautiful local produce so you can enjoy our home made snacks and cocktails in the cosy bar.
We promote solely eating and drinking plant-based food. For our future generations, environment and health, but also to counter unnecessary animal suffering: this is the direction we choose!
Almost all of our drinks are served in glas, without straws. This way, we avoid that plastic from our activities ends up on the beach. You won't find any plastic wraps around the biscuits you get with your coffee, nor separate milk, sugar or sauces containers.
There is one smoking area at the surf club. Why this policy? Because we believe smoking does not belong on the beach (in nature). First and foremost, the sigarette butts (unintentionally) end up in the sand and thus in nature. It's also not cool and even dangerous when children playing in the sand find a butt and put it in their mouth (it happens!). Even when you're outside, people smoking next to you is unpleasant. In short, we strive for smoke free beaches, just like in other countries where this is already a common fact, e.g. in Spain.
We work without reservations. Relax & enjoy the summer breeze. We have a large lounge area where you can always find a spot.

Dogs are certainly welcome, but please keep your hairy friend on a leash in the bar and on the beach. Not everyone likes dogs and there are lots of children on the loose.
Yes! You can order pizzas in the bar for take away. Mind you! We do not take orders via the phone.
