Lagon Energy

The rooms at LAGON ENERGY (former Ocean Vagabond) are of excellent quality and the food is splenid. The spot is more interesting because you can kite earlier in the morning due to its location with regard to the dunes. The distance to the speed spot is a bit bigger, but feasible. At the accommodation, the water is flatter than at Attitude for example. 

And Lagon Energy has an eco label, just like us :-). They even reuse what has already been eaten...for the plants to be clear ;-).

DATES

When are we leaving?

2 options:

• Saturday 29 March until Saturday 5 April 2025 @ the LAGOON 
• Saturday 5 April until Saterdag 12 April 2025 @ the LAGOON (= Easter holiday!)

Of course, it's also possible to go both periods :-). Please subscribe as soon as you can, we can hold the accommodation in option until 23 January 2025 at the latest. First come, first surf!

LessOnS

To Kite or Foil?

You can take extra lessons at the local kite school. As a beginner, you can learn to kite in the lagune under the best circumstances and practice, practice, practice during your entire stay! Also as an intermediate or advanced kiter you'll find interesting courses to join. Unlike previous years, we cannot teach ourselves anymore at their location.

Lessons can be booked in advance or on the spot. Since it's high season, we recommend booking in advance. Have a look at all the price here (download under ‘New Pricebook 2024’).

Flight

YOU BOOK YOUR FLIGHT YOURSELF! Prices range around € 400 for a return fligth, around the Christmas holidays it might be a bit more. 

Book your flight via: Royal Air Maroc. Definitely check flights from Amsterdam as well, as they tend to get cheaper in certain periods.

Since covid, you better book directly with the airline and not through a third party (such as Cheaptickets or Skyscanner). This makes it easier to arrange vouchers or repayments in case of cancellation.

Board Bags

Board bags were free previous years, this year they should be too. At the desk, you should mention you have a surfboard with you, because on the website is mentioned that a “kit surf” with dimensions 220x40x40cm and up to 23kg is free. If you add kites (until 23kg), only mention the surfboard just to be sure ;-).
